I also waited desperately for beefsteak hearty rye to come back. It is still tasty, because no other bakers make anything close to it, but not as good as from wonder bakeries... First thing I noticed was no seeds on outside, and crust color and outer texture changed and looks odd. Also, inside, old rye used to have random larger air pockets inside from yeast, like swiss cheese , but this is now more perfect like white bread. I was already warned from wonder workers that it is challenging to get the loaves just right during baking and processing.......I believe formula has changed. Still glad to have something fairly close though...John P.

Greetings to Orograin Bakeries: I write this with factual information. I have been eating your Anzio & Sons Bakery rolls for years. They are my main staple for my lunch at work.
As I was eating my sandwich one day a couple weeks ago, it came to me, why can't Anzio's make a rye roll. I love rye bread with a ham and swiss cheese. A rye Anzio roll with the aforementioned ingredients would be a perfect combination. I prefer the seeded rye.
I had previously written to Anzio's but never got a response. I'm in strong hopes I receive one from you. Thank you for your time.

We live in Maryville Tn. and my husband likes Beefsteak Rye with seeds. We can not buy it here, and was wondering if there is some place we could order it. Or if there is a place near Maryville we could buy it. Thank you.
