24-hour hospice care There are times when a terminal illness cannot be adequately managed at home. CHP's Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center specializes in pain and symptom management so that patients can return to wherever they call home. All hands-on care is provided by specially trained hospice nurses. We give 24-hour care that ministers to physical, emotional and spiritual concerns. Care is available on a short or long-term basis. The unique design of this 12-bed center addresses the needs of the whole family. All rooms are private suites with immediate access to chapel, kitchen, library, showers and overnight accommodations.
