I first was taken to Snell's to be fitted for an artificial leg after having mine amputated below the knee at the age of 3 years. I have had hundreds made since then and have always been well pleased with the results. I had one made that did not fit at all and could not be made over. So, they started over and made me a new one from scratch at no cost to myself or my insurance. When I first started going there Jim Davis took me like I was his little girl and took care of everything I needed. Jim had lost a leg in an accident so he knew first hand what I needed and how to handle it. At that time many of the workers wore limbs or braces of some kind. Most of those are no longer living but, the workers are still very friendly and knowledgeable. Give them a try if you or a loved one are in need of any type of limb or brace as well as special shoes.
