Had a great vacation. Everything was perfect and can't wait to get back to the beach!

Broken washer, dirty water, cockroaches, and terrible customer service. Stayed at Sunrise Village 109. I'll start by saying Gulfsands Rentals offered to compensate me $30 for my trouble, but in my mind is totally unacceptable for the situation. I requested 1 night be reimbursed out of the 7 that we stayed - then after two more emails they never responded. We arrived and the first thing we noticed is the washer door is open and about 1 foot full of filthy dark brown water. We called and got somebody trying to fix it but was unsuccessful. Repair man was great but stated they have been unable to fix washer over past weeks. I left to go to the beach and let him do his work. After 2 days of not hearing anything back I had to call office and ask about what they were going to do about the water. Somebody came to drain it. After a couple more days of not hearing about repair status I asked and they said it's unfixable. The troublesome part about the washer is they knew it was having issues for weeks and never notified us we would be unable to do laundry. A family of 4 on a beach vacation needs this. I would have found another option. The attitude was consistently like we were a burden and it's no big deal to not have a washer. I'm on vacation and last thing I want to do is spend hours at the laundromat - but apparently that's only worth $30 of trouble. Also we found two huge dead cockroaches each about 2.5 inches long. I guess this was the result of the exterminators that arrived unannounced to apply poison in our condo. Between the washer and the exterminator we had 3 visits from maintenance personnel while we are trying to relax on vacation. Also 2 of the 3 TVs were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi. Not a big deal on beach vacation but worth mentioning. Cable doesn't work in 1 bedroom too. Also even though Covid restrictions are lifted, Gulfsands is still doing a "remote" check in that is cumbersome. It feels like they are using the situation as an excuse to not have to interact with people. The office you pick your keys up at resembles a maximum security prison with all the cameras and just seems over the top. Positives were tons of hot water, good location across from Waves (groceries, beer, ice, fishing, etc), and normally an OK value if these problems would have been resolved. Condo is certainly dated. Overall I can't recommend based on my experiences with how the company is managed and the troubles I described with the condo.
