My partner and I have opened this shop to continue what Mrs Renison had started in 1929!

I was recently employed with Crispie Creme and, like everyone else who has worked/works there I was not receiving my paychecks on time and they would occasionally skip a paycheck with no explanation as to why I/we weren't receiving checks other than that the "payroll lady" was out of town or didn't have them ready. I was patient in the beginning, but when I was late paying my rent due to late payment from them I began to ask around to see what could be done. I began to file a complaint with the Department of Labor, but when Hila and Randall (owners) saw this they fired me. The donuts taste awesome, but I do not understand how any human can treat someone (let alone an employee) as they treated me. I was in that store 6 days a week and going to nursing school full time, and to fire me for demanding my money after the time and effort I put into that place is beyond me. I'm still waiting for two checks in the mail, we will see if they come or not. I'm a firm believer in karma and believe that those two will receive what they deserve in regards to how they treated me and are continuing to treat the dedicated employees who continue to work there for little/no pay.

As Lauren states, this place does not, or rarely does pay the people that work there. They do not put money in the bank for paychecks to be cashed! How can a business do this to their employees? Shame on the owners!!! I hope KARMA catches up with them real soon!
