I wouldn't use Hertz again if they paid me.

I will NEVER us Hertz again. Hertz has terrible customer service. After booking a car online with the "total price guaranteed at $128.14", I was charged $450. It took 2 and a half hours on the phone with several customer service agents who repeatedly sent me to the phone tree that disconnected me or asked to leave a message for a call back that I never received to get information to schedule the car return.

I've also had the run around from Hertz. I told them I had insurance and offered it at the time of rental and asked the agent if he wanted to see it....he said "no". There was a language barrier (Ft Lauderdale-hispanic). They back doored me and charged me $174. True, I should have noticed it at the time of rental, but I was very tired, over looked it, and trusted Hertz wrongly . I have talked to many customer service people....one of them told me that I would get a credit for the insurance charge. I decided I'd better check for their honesty, but they have so far not lived up to their promise. Typical U.S. corporation today....in your pockets!!!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!!!!
