I am a collector of fans for many years. I began working on A/C equipment also decades ago when people were telling me that "We don't use fans anymore, we have air conditioning". I was initially stunned at this remark, seeing no sense in the use of one to the exclusion of the other. When I answer that I try not to have a snarky tone, and say that every air conditioner has two fans. I still work on both but prefer fans. I now no longer sell the metal bladed fans I have, but hoard them up. I build them into highly unique pieces using design standards that are now considered antiquated and I mock the modern whirling noise makers available today. I applaud EMS company for thinking as I do and for their USA manufacturing. I recently obtained an old motor of theirs and am hoping that they will be able to advise me on how to connect it, as there are no color codes on it's wires. It will then be made into a Contraband Fan.
