Stopped into this motel and stayed a couple nights to visit family in town. Was kind of surprised I was able to check in at about 2:30 in the morning. Younger guy runs the place alone and seemed very nice. He even met me at the room and had me look it over before handing me the key. He had the room cleaned the next day before I got back from breakfast at 9:30. He said he saw my car gone so he just got it done. For an older motel, I was impressed with the service, cleanliness, and value for my dollar. I'll use the place when in town for sure.

The hotel itself is just fine and is priced much lower than others within driving distance. It does have one of the oddest smoking policies I have seen in a hotel. When you check in they don't ask if you want a smoking or non smoking room, he asks "do you smoke"? If you smoke, and they have a smoking room, that is the only option they give you. I asked the manager of the hotel what if someone says they don't smoke but they do? He then told me if a person is not honest at check-in, and is seen smoking or evidence that they smoke, the guest is asked to leave and they don't get a refund. I always thought a person smoker or not should be able to decide if they want a smoking room or not. This place does not give you that option. I understand protecting their investment, but what about a customer's wants? For the price it is what it is I guess. Spend 35 or 40 bucks on a place like this or spend closer to 100 bucks staying in Pratt.

Rooms are a bit small, but the price is great compared to others in the area. Great Bend and Pratt is 2X the price. I've stayed at this hotel 3 different times and think the value is there. About 40 bucks and the place is clean. Very quiet and no drama going on. Very safe place to stay.
