Beware! Not the previous owner, nor half the kind, intelligent, professional nature. These people left me hanging in every way, causing me to miss an important city tax deadline even though they had my info early. The husband became irate and lost it after I inquired about an obvious mistake his wife made that would've cost me a lot of $$$ then called me an f'n idiot, kept my $500 deposit and refused to complete the work. Greedy, insecure, arrogant rudeness is not a good trait for an accountant to have after they make obvious and gross accounting errors. Neither is it good to blame the customer for your mistakes after one does shabby, incomplete accounting work. I'm a single father of four, honorably discharged veteran (army 11B) with four kids, one a childhood cancer survivor and the other born deaf. . If these mean-spirited shysters would do it to me, they'd do it to anyone. They were nice at first, but turned rude at the drop of a hat. I was surprised the way he spoke to me like I was some type of idiotic, errant child- after I found a major accounting error. After two second opinions, these folks really did make a major error and were at fault. No excuse for their rudeness or keeping my $500 bucks. The money they kept of ours was a lot of money for my family. Everyone should know- Avoid Pro Tax at all costs! I feel sorry for their awesome receptionist for having to work for such ungrateful, selfish people.
