Builder switched to Howard Lumber in the middle of build. Worst thing that ever happened during our build. The very first order was delivered to the wrong job site. Then not picked up and transferred until the next night (2 days of no work because of wrong delivery). Then we realized they sent the incorrect wood length. They had to send more wood and charged me for their mistake. The sales rep came to the house to measure for doors. He ordered 1 door incorrectly which sat in my garage for months along with unused lumber. He ordered the wrong number of door locks and dead bolts. I asked multiple times for a pick up and return of unused lumber, door, and door knob and he said "we'll have to schedule something." My builder actually had to return the lumber and door knobs. I returned the door and called to find out why I haven't received a return. They said the door was broken and they wouldn't return the door knob. The door and door knob that the sales rep incorrectly ordered that sat in my garage for months. How can a sales rep order incorrectly and I have to pay for it? Borderline criminal. Stay away from Howard at all costs. There are much better building supply companies.
