I worked at Gerlinger Steel for almost ten years as an Estimator for machining, fabrication, and metal processing. I can say that the shop personnel were some of the most skilled and knowledgeable craftsmen I ever worked with. And the staff in the steel sales department were hard driving and always gave their best effort. I briefly worked for another company in Redding after leaving Gerlinger Steel and all I can say is what a joke. They had nothing in comparison to Gerlinger Steel when it came to customer service, organization, and skilled shop personnel. I have never seen another steel company that offers such a diverse assortment of products and services. Customer service and product diversity are definitely a priority at Gerlinger Steel.
