I love that the doctor could explain why she was doing what she was doing in a way that my kids could understand. If they were going to be in a lot of pain due to a tightening or whatever she would explain the importance, and let them know to expect pain for x amount of days. It was nice because they could plan around the tightening so it wouldn't ruin any plans for them.
