Totally incompetent installers, terrible customer service. We made the mistake of buying a washing machine from Feidens. It took literally five visits by a series of incompetent installers over the course of three weeks for them to finally hook up the new machine. One particular pair of installers (whom the sales manager vouched for as highly experienced) punctured the hose attached to the machine and neglected to connect the other end to our drain pipe, flooding our basement. Every one of these visits required two or three phone calls as it seems to be company policy (from managers to dispatchers) not to return calls; likewise all assurances that technicians would call in advance of arrival were ignored. We thought we were doing the right thing by buying from a local, supposedly reputable business. Would have been far better off buying from a box store or even online. This company exhibits all the signs of a failing business.

We built a brand new house and purchased a “NEW - NEVER BEEN USED” Electrolux washer and dryer for our second floor laundry room from the Latham store. The washer stopped completing a full cycle leaving the clothes soaking wet and I called Feiden’s to have it serviced. I was informed it was past the year warranty and I could try and contact Electrolux or pay for service. When I called Electrolux and gave them the model/serial numbers they informed me it was registered to a gentleman that lived in Red Hook NY. Electrolux was extremely helpful and dug deeper and informed me my “new” washer was previously SOLD from the Feiden’s Kingston store and RETURNED after it caused “EXTENSIVE WATER DAMAGE” in the customers house. Long story short it was a nightmare dealing with Bradley who continued to lie and insist Electrolux was wrong even though I had the exact dates of the original sale, the customers name, service and exchange records. Why not call Electrolux with me standing there to discuss it on speakerphone if the information they gave me was incorrect? Because he LIED and it was indeed USED, RETURNED and FIXED by their service department, then shipped to the Latham store and sold to us as NEW. Instead of just refunding us and being done with the situation he gave us the run around for weeks and his unprofessional conduct is not representing his family business well at all.
