If there was an option to give zero stars, I would happily provide that; but some work was done so one star will suffice. However, after paying for the unlimited lesson package for two months, in addition to a tip every visit , the fact is...it is truly not unlimited. Trying to schedule an appointment that is consistent is difficult as well, as lack of communication among two of the trainers is clearly, very evident. In addition, the two trainers definitely put on a great show in the beginning. Don't count on that consistency. One hour sessions gradually decrease to half hour sessions. One is constantly texting. The other is somewhat decent and somewhat attentive. Kudos for the subpar commitment. I always wonder how unlimited packages work in this field, specifically without a cap on the amount of students based on committed staff.
After pricing packages around at almost every barn on long island and telling them that I have an unlimited package, the answer I seem to get is that... "it's an innovative idea but definitely a new thing around here in the hunter seat eq business historically."
I'm appalled and I wish I never gave them my money for the package aforementioned. You get what you pay for... and as a new/beginner rider they need more patience, once again consistency, and a better attitude; especially when they have a client who truly wants to learn and better themselves.
All in all... there is so many other barns -establishments out there that provide a better service. One that is committed to providing lessons on a steady basis especially if you're willing to pay. If you're going to throw your money in this place and invest in there instructors to better oneself as a rider then I recommend spending the extra 30$-60$ going elsewhere once weekly with a trainer who has a reputation for quality teaching.
Don't be naive and gullible. Do you're due diligence, research what you're getting into, and don't listen to all these 4-5 stars that individuals have given this establishment.

I purchased a 2 hour ride for 2 at Outlaw acres on Living Social and then called them to schedule the outing. I was cut off the second I mentioned that I purchased this outing through living social and told I had to call "Amanda" at a different #. I did so ....many times over the course of a few weeks and got no return phone call. I called the original # as well and spoke with I think Rita who assured me that if I called Amanda she would return my call. After a solid month of this nonsense and being told by Rita that they were now pretty booked up...i called living social and even though thier policy is no refunds after 7 days they refunded my money because they had many complaints from others who had purchased this deal. So guess what?....Today Amanda called me! She asked if I wanted to schedule the ride. i told her that i had already canceled and why...she said "no problem...have a nice day"....truly unreal....you have been warned.
