I used Alex Construction for a landscape project that included turf removal, installation of concrete pavers, weed barriers and drip irrigation conversion from our sprinkler system. Alex was difficult to work with and did not complete the work without having to remind him of the original agreement multiple times. The worst part was one month after the work was completed the concrete slabs have now shifted because the rebar reinforcement was done incorrectly. Alex was notified of this via phone and text and was cordial but then did not show up for two appointments to review the issue - he then stopped responding altogether and I will need to have the work corrected by another contractor and will take Alex to Small Claims Court for the repairs. I strongly recommend not using Alex for any work because he does not stand behind the quality of his finished product. Its a shame, he seems like a nice guy.
