I would definitely NOT recommend Harper Electric. I am happy to pay for service work preformed but not for tagged on time over and above what it took to re-install a bathroom fan. I'm sure Mr. Willard Howard, the owner, would be very disappointed in the way his son Brian handled this situation. I was happy to pay for the hour it took to install the fan, and even agreed to pay the $45.50 driving time charge even though the distance between the shop and our house is only 15 minutes, but they insisted it took longer than an hour to install a replacement fan we had purchased from Lowes. They also said they would take me to court if I did not pay for a full two hours of work time. These are definitely hard times for everyone, but gouging the customer is not the way to do business. I tried to be flexible but it seems that Harper Electric has not learned the old slogan one bad recommendation goes alot farther than100 good recommendations. A very unsatisfied customer!
