Dee visited our house today and she made our day! She came with a lot of information that is useful for a new resident, such as where to find local service providers, what are some good local restaurants and shops, and what art and culture organizations are out there. We also found out about many amazing local businesses that we didn't even know existed! We also got a lot of freebies, samples, gift certificates and coupons from local companies. I think a service like that should exist in every town! It really makes you feel welcome, in a personal way, and gives you a very good orientation to your new home town.
