We were having trouble with the local zoning and housing dept. and a local judge. He wanted my 61 year old husband to scrape and paint our very large house in one month in spite of his working 6 days a week leaving only 4 days to do the whole job. When I say large home I'm talking about 70 gallons of paint to cover it. We couldn't find a lawyer to help us work something out because no one will have any dealings with this judge. And I couldn't find a painter who wasn't booked for the whole summer. I called Ellis Painting after hearing about them from my grandson who went to school with some of their granddaughters. I explained the situation we were in and they being local knew about the judge. Their estimated was reasonable considering the size of the house and they stuck to it. They squeezed us into their schedule and they worked on our house every day for some period of time. They scraped off all the old paint, primed it and painted it. They covered anything that might possibly get paint on it. They cleaned up after themselves so there are no paint chips lying around from scraping. They were polite and helpful. I believe they have been painters for 5 generations and they know what they are doing. The house looks great. We get compliments on it all the time. They got it all done in a month. (The judge still fined us because my husband didn't do it himself.) I would recommend this company and I'm very grateful for their help.
