0/10 would NOT recommend. We went in the office and asked did they have anything available to rent. Before I could even finish he said NO. Then proceeded to tell me he had a house and trailer but it wouldn't be available until 2 days. I asked could we look at them and he said no. And I said ok we will check back with you in 2 days. Then he tells me that he doesn't understand why I would want to live there because there's nothing but black people. Then tells me he has to get rid of the man on the corner because he "slings dope" and they haven't "felt the wrath of him." My boyfriend walked outside to answer his phone and the man makes the comment "y'all ain't gone want to rent from me now that statement p***** him off. And I said no he's just tired from work and his phone rang and he replies "I'm ill and tired from work too" so I said ok we'll check back with you. I call the next day and ask can we go ahead and pay to reserve the house and the man who answered says let me put you on the phone with him and he gets on the phone and says no I'm good and hangs up. So I call back and ask was there a reason he hung up in my face so rudely and he says "I just don't want to rent to y'all. I can tell what kind of people y'all are because of how you're boyfriend walked out. You're mom seems like a b**** and birds of a feather flock together." Then says "now go ahead and say bye so I can hang up and you won't call me back" and then I told him he was very rude and doesn't know me to judge me and he starts yelling and I hung up the phone. I filled a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and they informed me that they are already looking into his business and to call and complain to the code enforcement office about how in terrible shape his properties are. I'd be lying if I said it didn't hurt my feelings how he talked to me, but now I'm glad it didn't work out because I couldn't imagine renting from such rude and hateful people. They definitely shouldn't even be in the business if they are going to treat their potential tenants like this.
