Chateau Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1984 by Dr. Violet Nix. Chateau Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1984 by Dr. Violet Nix. She had a dream of a veterinary practice that would provide the most up to date and compassionate care for pets. Dr. Nix knew this meant that for the well-being of your pet, your family needs also must be considered. Our team of doctors and staff constantly strive to provide personalized care for your furry family member’s medical, behavioral, and emotional needs. Our commitment to making your pet’s visit as stress and pain free an experience as possible lead us to become the second hospital in the country (and the only one in Louisiana) to be a Fear Free Certified Hospital. We will work to help you to understand your pet’s health care needs and help you make the best decisions for your beloved friend and your family. Our promise to you: Our best, every visit, every time.
