Barbara Shackel-West
Barbara Shackel-West is the single most talented person I have had the privilege to work with respect to carpet design. She has produced the most creative, beautiful and outstanding carpet designs for us over the many years we have had the opportunity to work with her, with out exception, time and again. She has met totally unreasonable deadlines, and managed to do it without any decline in artistic quality. She is capable of turning out extraordinary work with a short brief as well as an extensive one. She has produced well over a hundred designs for us.
And that would be enough, but she does it with such grace and she is incredibly personable. She cares deeply about her work and her relationships. She has a genuine desire to satisfy, she is not pleased unless you are. Her temperament is unlike most artists, she cares about her clients, almost to a fault.
It has been my pleasure and great fortune to have worked with her. I expect you will as well if you offer her the chance.
