Roggentien & Sons (the original business name), was started back in 1936 in Marengo, IA by brothers Joe & Ernest Roggentien. The business dealt in scrap iron & metals, installed glass and bought wool & furs. In 1987, Mike Roggentien took over the business and became sole owner, changing the name to Roggentien Salvage.
