I had a project scheduled at this facility one week after Hurricane Sandy. Even though the facility did not get electricity back till 2 days before my project, Nella and her staff kept my project going. They charged their personal cell phones from their cars (since they had no power at home) to make reminder calls. The respondents were fabulous and all but one showed up (by freak chance on the second evening of the research the area got hit by a snow storm). The staff found restaurants with power to bring my clients meals. All around we were treated like royalty even though the staff and the respondents had been through much personal hardship.
