I paid Gene's $8k to install a new heat pump system in a new house. When I turned on the power it was running $10 per day ($300 per month). Nothing else running. Gene's sent out a service tech. The tech was very rude and told me that the system was running normal and I should turn it off if the power bill was to high. I called Gene's again the next day to come fix the unit but they REFUSED TO COME BACK. They told me I was crazy and the unit was working properly. I called another company to come look at it. Turns out that GENE'S GUYS WIRED UP THE UNIT WRONG WHEN THEY INSTALLED IT. The new company had it fixed in 30 minutes and now the system uses about $1 per day ($30 per month). Gene's would not pay $150 to fix their mistake so I am leaving this review. They think I should have tried harder to convince them it was not running correctly. They think I should have gave them more chances to try and fix it. I think they are incompetent and I would have a $400 power bill every month if I listened to them.
