When it became the "right time" and as her health care surrogate and POA, I searched weeks for a place I felt comfortable with to care for my Grandmother in her "failing" years. With dementia and other health issues creeping into her life, I found the absolute best care I could possibly imagine. Chris Gibree and her staff at Oak Tree Manor showed the love and compassion necessary to continue a great quality of life in a setting that is always clean and welcoming, both inside and out. I had the privilege of living close by and was able to stop in often, sometimes just to chat with the staff to see how she was doing. On many occasions I was able to observe her in another room enjoying others or watching TV but never found her or any other resident, for that matter, in bed or off on their own being ignored. She was always well kept and ready to go when I had the opportunity to take her out to family gatherings, lunch, doctor appointments and the like. To Chris and the staff at Oak Tree Manor, I can't thank you enough for all you did in making the last years of my Grandmothers life a pleasant experience for her and her family.
