Don't believe anything he says. Ricky lied about everything from saying no building permit was needed to insisting everything was to code. I found out too late that he had multiple violations and paid many fines to consumer Protection from 2018 thru 2023 . If Consumer Protection actually took their job seriously they would have pulled his license in 2021. Before he had the chance to take my money for a shoddy job. He left an unlicensed subcontractor to do the work without supervision. Consumer Protection got both of them for this in 2021. And he had the same contract violations in 2018 as with the contract I signed with him. Stay Away from Pearl River Home Improvement. He got a building permit because Consumer Protection made him. The work failed inspection. I lost my Certificate of Occupancy. He refuses to fix it properly. He will only agree to do patchwork quick fixes. I didn't pay $9,500.00 for that kind of work. Don't count on Consumer Protections help. They get their money and run.
