Had my wife nearly die while in the Med just after Christmas because of this group. She was refferred by the E.R. and admitted. Never saw the doc but nurses gave her an antibiotic that she had an allergic reaction to. I hit the nurse call button and told them what was happening since the nurse hooked up the IV and left the room without observing her reaction to a new medication. I finally jerked the IV myself, got my wife into the shower and cleaned her up from puking and crapping herself. I had put her back to bed before a nurse finally walked in to check on her. The response was that she knew something was up cause the heart monitor was showing her rate up to 196. This is bad enough but they came in 3 more times within the next 36 hours to hook her back up to the same antibiotic. Now they are sending me a bill for their services even though Tricare Prime / Champus has already paid them. I go into the system to find out who this doctor is and find 185 court cases against him and that this group contact number is no longer in service. Can you say Malpractice and Medical Insurance Fraud runs rampant in Memphis?? My suspiciion is that my case will be added to the 185 already on the dockets. James D. Sisson USN - Retired DHS- Retired
