We have spent in excess of $800,000 with this company in the past eight years. One of the drycleaning machines which required heavy duty bolts experienced shearing of 4 of the 6 internal bolts due to the fact that Hill put in grade 5 bolts instead of grade 8 during manufacture. This occurred within the first year of our ownership. It cost us nearly a thousand dollars to fix and required three days of inoperation. Furthermore, when we fixed the bolts at our own expense, Hill offerred to send us seals to replace the ones which were leaking. Imagine our surprise when we were met by the FedEx delivery man with a bill for $119 for two seals which we would have been glad to purchase locally for a total of $29.88 had we known they were not being sent as a gesture of goodwill. I would never recommend this company to anyone interested in quality manufacturing, decent customer service, or honest business dealings. I cannot imagine how they expect to stay in business.
