I had a great experience with Richard Lincoln. He was the lowest bidder of 7 for a new roof. He didn't have all the details in his bid, so I asked him to include things others had in theirs; he did and still was the lowest, even with additional repairs. He's very honest. He doesn't nickel and dime you to death. We had delays mostly due to weather, but he got the job done. It took about 8 or 9 days total. He doesn't bring in a 10-man crew for 2 days as some (higher bidders) do. It's your choice. His son works with him and did a lot of the work with another young man, but Rich is on the roof whenever he needs to be and the job was done very well. He's a real pleasure to work with, also. He fixed things I didn't even know where not right. I would DEFINITELY hire him again and have referred him to a neighbor. If you are cost conscious and care more about value than a quick project, he's your man. You may have to ask them to put things back where he originally found them, but they will do it with a smile and do it right away. I was VERY happy to have found him.
