History of Parrott-Wood Library In October 1969, the very small Strawberry Plains Library was ranked 7th in the region of 99 libraries, flourishing and busting out at the seams. With a twinkle in her eye, Mrs. Mayme Parrott-Wood shared her dream of building a larger library for her community.
