The light of my life is completely vegan and, while I do not adopt the complete vegan lifestyle (I simply cannot give up cheese!), I ordered a very expensive vegan birthday cake. I wondered how his children, completely and emphatically proclaimed non-vegetarians, would gag down a piece of vegan cake. To my shock, amazement, delight and utterly stupefied wonder, this was the most incredible gastro-delight I've ever had the pleasure of ingesting! I ordered the Lemon cake with Vanilla frosting at his request and can honestly claim this to be the best cake I've ever, EVER eaten in my life. I will never order from another bakery again. Thank you, thank you, Jennie and all you wonderful bakers at PattyCake Bakery. Cheese isn't so important when I can have a frosting that tickles every single individual taste bud in my mouth. I am seriously considering the complete vegan lifestyle. And the kids....I had to fight them for the last bite!
