Mercury Solar founded in 1979 became a buisness trust in 1993 via multiple investors. The trust owns over 2000 solar systems of which it maintains and sells energy therefrom. Mercury Solar also sells photovoltaic, solar heating and solar A/C equipmnet. Its activities over the last 31 years have eliminated the importation of over 2 million barrels of oil into Hawaii (an approximation of 66,000 barrels of oil into Hawaii eliminated ANNUALLY ).
