Tammy Collett Griffith Bastin If anyone has had issues with the Pulaksi County Water District please message me or my sister Bridgett Turner-Gambrel Five years ago when the water distrct received grant money for rural water, pipe was laid to my parents home my father paid in advance for his meter. When the water came one mile form his home he was visited by a state rep (nameless for time being) and told he would have to purchase three meters for one home to get the water, Reluctantly we paid for three. Then the pipe disappeared and no water. Also no money was ever returned. We attened meetings over the years to no avale. My parents are in their mid 80's and do not have access to clean water or a ample amount. We have to provide clean drinking bottled water. This is an embarrassment to our county that elderly people are forced to live without water. we have filed a court case against the water districh which will take a year. Sadly My parents may never live long enough to have water in their home If you could tell people this story maybe it will help get someting done to the tyrants known as the water district who feel becasue they have a monopoly on the county water can do what ever they please. They refuse to show the content of the grant which is tax money and should be open record. when a small group answers to know one they feel untouchable. you may also contact sandy weiman-morrow PLEASE SHARE THIS STORY to help two very sweet elderly people get clean water

Apparently Ms. Burke is unaware that the water company that she should be referring to is Southeastern Water Association. They cover Buren Turner Rd which is in the eastern part of the county, not western. Get your facts straight before you start bashing someone!!!
