LEE talked me into a SERVICE CONTRACT = 24x7 w/ NO EXCLUSIONS or extra fees. MY A/C BROKE (6:20PM) & they REFUSE TO SERVICE IT TONIGHT. I'm s retired Sr lady with COPD & CANCER; they're aware, that’s how they got my signature. I called LEE at 6:30PM; the SERVICE MGR said "we'll not come in the rain." [2 hrs prior + now 8AM = 12 hrs 0 rain.] When I said “No rain here” and asked WHAT 24X7 MEANT he said "ANY "IDIOT" KNOWS not to work on A/C in the rain!" & he said “I'll fit you in at noon/1:00PM Monday.” When I replied “I need now, or at least earlier,” he yelled "NO!" & continued to speak rudely & loudly at me. After the dialogue I re-call the answer service & asked to speak with the OWNER; he REFUSED TO SPEAK WITH ME. Shortly thereafter the srv mgr called me to say he’ll fit me in at 9:00AM. The owner had called him, but this still does not fix my problem so I again asked to speak with the owner, to which the srv mgr snarked “the owner would NEVER speak with you!” The dialog got worse- I again asked to speak with the owner & the srv mgr yelled at me “I told you can’t talk to the owner!" inferring I’m not worthy or it’s beneath the owner to talk to customers. So - IF I HAVE A COPD ATTACK, END UP IN THE HOSPITAL, all KNOW WHO TO BLAME. Look, 24X7=lie; they’re RUDE, DON’T KEEP CONTRACTED OBLIGATIONS, not to mention THE SERVICE MGR HAS ANGER MGMT PROBLEMS & I am frightened to be alone with that man! Pals posting this on the www, all bultn boards, etc no further horror!
