A Family’s Affair not only advocated for the other parent or party, but outright harassed me, and relentlessly contacted me without my consent. A Family’s Affair tried to confirm a non-existent appointment, as I never approved an appointment with their organization. I am not A Family’s Affair client. A Family’s Affair has no registration or required documents from me and provided no disclosures or consents to me. How can a third-party who claims to be able to supervise a court-ordered third-party supervised visit supervise without a court order?! I have no agreement or contract with A Family’s Affair, yet they move forward with a service without consent. This organization is completely unprofessional and inappropriate in their dealings with the parties involved in a litigation.

I used A Family Affair yesterday and had a great experience. I had never used a visitation agency before so I was a little nervous and didn't know quite what to expect. From the very first time I called, Cindy made me feel very comfortable and helped quell my fears. I have three children, ages 9, 8, and 6. We had a great time at Amazing Jake's in Plano. The kids all felt very comfortable around Cindy and she was extremely kind to them. Even though it was a supervised visitation, it felt as though Cindy was part of our family. Based on my experience with Cindy, I highly recommend A Family Affair to anyone who needs supervised visitation.

We were forced to use the services of A Family Affair. Upon meeting with the owner, we had a good feeling. That didn't last past the first "supervised visit". The "supervisor" they provided several times, was the addicted daughter of the owner. I know she was addicted because the owner told us all about her in our first meeting. They missed appointments, and failed to meet the standards they set in our initial meeting. When we changed lawyers and went back to court, Cynthia was unable to produce any notes from the supervised visits even after we paid her a documentation fee. They are all about the money and not about the child. Avoid this business at all costs.
