We recently bought a ultra deck picnic table. Looking at the bottom of the table and the way the screws were put in my first thought was MADE IN CHINA. I had looking around alot and decided this was the best. We had visitors coming the nest day and were looking forward to eating outdoors. We have spent four days countless hours and the table is still not together. Nothing lines up with the legs it is a nightmare. This table costs 500.00. I would love to return it but it is too heavy. Wonder how it will burn in the firepit. We have had five people to work on it no Luck. Ikea is difficult but goes together. Very unhappy!!!! Hi. I'm Jodi Bender and I bought my Countertops for my Brand New House in August, 2012 ... The countertop is defective and warped!! I can't get ANYONE from this Company to help me!! I bought the countertop from Menards Store in Wausau, WI ... They say they can't do anything, only Midwest Mfg can. I actually called Midwest Mfg. and spoke ot Veronica ... She said she couldn't allow me to "talk" to anyone, either!! This is CRAZY!! I have a DEFECTIVE PRODUCT FROM YOU ... AND NOBODY WILL DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT!! All your "Answering Machines say, "SATISFACTION GUARANTEED", BUT ... I'm NOT satisfied ... and NOBODY IS DOING ANYTHING. WHAT KIND OF GUARANTEE IS THAT??? Jodi Bender 715-897-5293

Buyer beware! Midwest Manufacturing does a terrible job in communication. Their response to a problem of improper finish on solid oak panel interior doors was in writing and was not acceptable. I am in my mid seventies. I noticed that 4 of the 9 doors which were installed had spotty finished. Areas that had no finish. After contact I was told that I could remove the doors, return them to Menards, and pick up replacement doors. I cannot lift the doors, have no way to return them, nor to pick up the replacements. I explained this and was told that Midwest would not be responsible for any installation cost, and delivery cost, and that the burden was mine. This blog is a summary of extended written communication.
