Evan Wood Consulting, Inc. was founded in 2005. Evan Wood, President, has a long history of helping organizations find creative solutions to their most pressing problems and/or opportunities. Evan Wood is also a Management Professor in Taylor University's MBA program, where he teaches strategy, organizational design, change management, research, and coaching and mentoring courses. In consulting, Evan Wood Consulting Inc. provides strategic planning facilitation, management team training and development, executive coaching, and other management consulting as needed. All of our work is designed to meet the specific needs of client organizations. We do not use pre-packaged, off-the-shelf solutions. Our job is to work ourselves out of a job by preparing clients to succeed.

In the early days, Prairie Quest focused on project management and systems integration. But while attending to our business customers??? needs during high-tech system projects and assisting business analysts and business-driven project managers, we discovered that we were offering a new breed of business solutions to our customers. These solutions focused on people and processes and streamlined customers??? business through lean processing and technology. Since then, Prairie Quest analysts and technology specialists have contributed to the success of high-profile customers like the Army, Navy, IBM, Raytheon, State of Indiana, and many more. Our clients are nonprofits of all types (traditional nonprofits, parochial, Christian, and private schools, churches, arts organizations, etc.). They are primarily located in the US. They range in size from small startups to long-standing large multi-divisional organizations. The majority of our clients are nonprofits who have experienced difficulty and need assistance returning to sustainability. After analyzing their business model we provide assistance with the development of a strategic plan, strengthening operational procedures, building leadership skills, adjusting their governance model, or making other changes that will improve sustainability and increase their capacity to serve.
