Born and raised in Denver, I attended vocational school in Northwest Iowa, and graduated from it in 1975. I worked for 3 1/2 years in the Des Moines area, and moved back to Denver in 1978. Here I worked for electrical contractors wiring new homes, doing residential service work, and commercial wiring.
