Review is for services provided in Summer 2013 in Ohio. The sound during the show was mediocre at best and in most cases just plain bad – with one instrument or vocal being muffled, too loud or turned off. It was like a bad case of tweak-it is constantly jockeying the sound as the show went. I don’t think this was deliberate to just the band that I represented as I heard this going on throughout the day while others performed. What made this experience just outright horrible was the rather portly fellow running the sound from the side of the stage. He was extremely rude and obnoxious to the talent as they took the stage and performed their sound check. He even left the speakers open to the audience while he did so – so they could all hear it too. I had more than one audience member approach me to apologize or comment on his rude behavior. At one point he even issued what had to be a racially fueled negative comment to one of the band members (it stopped short of being racist – but was an obvious negative nod to the band member’s race). We tour constantly and have worked with MANY live sound reinforcement professionals; If this ignorant backwoods buffon is what this company has to offer in sound services you might want to skip on by when planning your tour, or event. You would be better off looking in one of the nearby bigger cities for a sound company with a professional track record.
