I began building my own house in July, 2015. I contracted and signed an agreement with Precision Plumbing, John Pitstick to complete my plumbing in the house from start to finish. John was very nice at first and professional. He completed the rough in and seemed to have done a nice job. Once we began building the walls, I realized that the plumbing was not correct to specs. One pipe was through the slab and thus the slab would have to be jackhammered and the pipe moved, then the slab repaired. The other pipe placement error, I just built around and worked around it as it happened to be in a closet. John was slow to respond and it was approx. 10 days before he returned to repair the pipe. I had to telephone John about 4 - 5 times to get him to come and finish the rough in. John never returned my call, but did show up one day, which was fine. He did finish the rough in, but while he was on my building site, he was on the phone about 50% of the time, but yet he never returned a phone call from me. My mistake at this point was in going ahead and paying him in full for the work he had completed to this point. A few weeks later, I needed a pipe to go through the first floor to provide water to my kitchen island. I telephoned John for about three weeks every other day, and never received a response. So, I sent John an email. He did finally respond and told me he had gotten a contract with someone for another job in Asheville, and that I would need to get another plumber.
