The Di Bacco School was founded in 1970 by Archie and Babs Di Bacco, two caring and committed teachers who believed that learning should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience and not an oppressive and terrifying ordeal. We continue to promote their philosophy through an approach that treats each student as a unique individual and not a faceless number in a soulless, bureaucratic machine. We believe that teachers should be guides who help students to find their own true path and not authoritarian taskmasters who compel them to perform on tests. We allow each student to work at a pace that is comfortable for him or her while making progress toward earning the required credits in each academic subject. Teachers provide one-on-one assistance to each student as needed.
