Magdalen's Pure Skin Care is owned and operated by Magdalen Lagergren, originally from Nairobi, Kenya. Magdalen has always been very passionate about skin care. While growing up in Kenya with an abundance of tropical fruits and vegetables, Magdalen made her own creams and masques for her mini-facials. When she arrived in the United States and realized that there were schools providing training for skin care therapists, she enrolled at Yvonne De Villar Esthetics School In Vienna Virginia. She graduated in 2004, obtained her license and immediately went to work for a spa in Arlington, VA and three years later worked for another one Bethesda, MD.
