Unfortunately this will be the FIRST NEGATIVE REVIEW I have ever given a company. After having been a loyal customer with Matt Murphy for over TWENTY years, Matt called me to tell me he would no longer insure the house of my ex-husband because it was vacant. He said I might as well move the car insurance as well. This came about because my ex-husband committed suicide in December. I became the administrator for the estate. After this tragedy, Matt was rude and cold. He basically told me he would no longer insure the house because I had moved my own insurance after the divorce. Interestingly enough, when I informed the lawyer for the estate and he called Matt, suddenly he was able to insure the property again. Over the years I had referred at least 8 people to Murphy Insurance. Now I wouldn't refer anyone and feel bad for those that are insured there. No customer loyalty or even human kindness will be found with Matt Murphy or Murphy Insurance.
