Ray rivard inc attempted to fix our front porch and chimney cap on 8/03/2013.the front porch had loose stones and needed to be re grouted and leveled. Our chimney had a crack and needed to be fixed. After he fixed the front porch and it rained, water was standing on the porch and there were dips and indentations were from not being leveled properly and the stones are loose again. The dips caused ice to accumulate on the porch in the winter. He also promised to use the same color grout and when the job was finished I mentioned to him that the grout looked real dark. He said it was wet and that when it dried it would match. It didn't. The chimney cap was done with the same grout or cement I also said it looked dark and didn't match. His answer was the same. it will match when it drys. It didn't. My wife wanted to wait to pay him to see that the job would turn out right but he insisted that he be paid. so we did. Big mistake. I should have known better because he passed out in his truck while two men that didn't speak english did the job. we called him back to fix the job and he said he couldn't because the weather was getting too cold and the fix wouldn't work.when we called him back this spring he stalled and then finally told us to sue him. which is what we are going to do. -
