We offer laser technology on site so jewelry and even eyeglasses can be repaired the same day. We can size rings on site so you will not have to risk mailing your jewelry to another location. Garon’s Jewelry also offers onsite watch repair for most brands of watches including Fossil and Citizen. We also keep a large assortment of bands and batteries in stock for your convenience. Most batteries and bands can be changed in just a few short moments while you wait. At Garon’s, we carry a great selection of quality jewelry and watches for men, women and children in all price ranges. Jewelry cleaning and appraisal services are also available. We provide free gift-wrap on any purchase and promise complete customer satisfaction by offering the best quality, selection, all at the best possible price. Garon’s Jewelry has full-service gem and mineral shop downstairs. Garon’s carries over 10,000 gemstones along with a large selection of minerals and specimens from North Carolina and the world. Garon’s has a full line of supplies for all your gem and mineral needs including mountings. Garon Mabe and his brother, Randy Mabe have been in the jewelry business for over 30 years and gained experience by working with their father, Virgil Mabe. His jewelry store called the Jewel Shop was open for business in downtown Lenoir for over 50 years. Garon attended Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas, and received an associates degree in jewelry Technology and Design in 1981. Randy attended Wayne Community College from 1982 to 1984, where he learned jewelry and watch –making skills. Michael Hefner recently joined the staff at Garon’s as a manager and is a certified gemologist. Michael graduated from Appalachian State and the Gemology Institute of America. Garon Mabe decided to open his own jewelry store next to his father’s store in 1984. In 1995, the store had outgrown the location and moved to the current location at 308 Connelly Springs Road. This location was previously a bank, so it was an ideal location for a jewelry store.
