Larry used me as a sub contractor, took my $2000 bid and submitted a $6000 estimate to customer. Normal finders fee would be 20% but Larry charged the customer 300% markup for only an introduction...when I finished the job he would not pay me the balance he owed. Would not recommend!!!!!

Rockbrook Alarms was able to save the customer mentioned $4,500 - $5,000 in comparison to other local companies, and he is very satisfied with his decision to do business with us. We understand that at this time your personal skill-sets, knowledge, and business acumen are not at a level for you to request professional level fees for your own services. We would like to recommend that you enroll in a quality business school and join the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association to take advantage of the many benefits both of these organizations can provide you. Our records indicate that not only were you overpaid, but you were also paid in full prior to even starting the subcontracted work you were hired to do. Rockbrook Alarms aqcuired by private equity firm: Omaha- a $5 billion dollar private equity group, announced April 10 that it has acquired Rockbrook Alarms. Rockbrook Alarms one of the larger full service alarm companies in the Midwest. Is involved in the selling, installation, service, and purchasing of residential and commercial security alarm systems. Rockbrook alarms has streamlined its operations with initiatives to remove docile employees, consolidate monitoring stations, and implimenting key strategic goals. Terms of the deal were not announced. Although sources say that Larry Ludwig, CEO and founder of Rockbrook Alarms - received $3.6 million cash, as well as a significant percentage of profit sharing over the next 3 years. A call to Ludwig seeking comment on the deal was not immediately returned. The new owners have stated that they will continue Ludwig's growth strategy. There will be no material changes whatsover other than to accelerate such growth and build a larger footprint. Immediate plans include opening new offices in Chicago, IL., and Denver, CO.
