If I could give this company no stars, I would! This company is contracted by Dominion to trim the trees away from the power lines. I have a fenced in yard with 2 pecan trees. One is inside of my fence and the other is outside. I also have a few other or had nice trees inside of my fence and a few just outside of it. I had a beautiful, full to the brim plum tree that was loaded with plums. It wasn't even in the power line. They cut the entire top out of it and left a 10ft stump and two branches. This tree is right on my fence line. They completely butchered my pecan trees. I have an oak tree that was just beautiful and they cut the entire top off of it. No trimming what so ever and it wasn't even in the power lines. They cleaned up their mess somewhat when they left the first time. My wife and I spent an afternoon in our yard and outside of it trying clean up the mess they left our trees in and debris. They then came back out today and butchered a tree on the side of my house that wasn't even in the power lines. Then they came back to our front yard and had started topping out another one of my trees that is at least 10 ft inside of my fence and the limbs were no where near the power lines. (Now, I know that the power company has to keep the trees trimmed back from the power lines. Every other company that has came, trimmed our trees nicely and they were never butchered like they are now.) Once I saw them topping my tree I had them stop. They are supposed to cut only 4 ft away from the power lines. They literally had their bucket truck 20 ft over my fence and the power lines are at least 30 ft or so away. The boss man came out and he had a nasty attitude! I told him that they were only supposed to cut 4 feet away. He then said, " no sir. Fifteen feet." I told him to just look at the horrible, butchered up job his crew did. He stood outside of my fence and had his hands out to the side of him kinda like in the air. He seemed to have "bowed up." I then did the same and said, "what?" It just seemed like he wanted a confrontation? I told him that I was going to call Dominion and I did. I got a supervisor and told him what they had done and was doing. The supervisor on the phone even said that they were only supposed to cut 4 feet from the power lines. Not have their bucket truck lift 15-20 ft over my fence in my yard. The supervisor that I talked to on the phone, then called that boss and told him and his crew to not cut another tree on my property. A little to late for that as we only had one tree left that wasn't touched. Now Dominion is sending someone out next week to look at our trees. Our beautiful trees are butchered. My oak tree probably won't grow straight back up, but bush out? My plum tree will probably have to be cut down with what's left of it? I even noticed that they cut one of my trees to about a foot from the top of my fence. My fence is 4 ft high. I'll try to add pictures to this tomorrow so that people will see how badly out trees are cut. It's just awful! One last thing, my neighbors have even said that our trees look awful. That they can't believe at how much our trees were butchered. I measured some of my trees today that weren't directly under the power lines, nor near it. My plum tree and little oak tree is 8 ft away from the power lines. One of the trees that is inside of my fence is 7ft 2 in from my fence. Outside of my fence to the power line is 8 1/2 ft. This company went at least 16 foot away from the power line to cut my tree. They had their bucket at least 20 over to cut my tree because they were stopped before they could cut the other side.
