I just recently left this company as a Merchandiser; while having a "Terrible Experience" with them! First of all; this job pays extremely low hourly wages, for the wear and tear on your knees & back! Physically challenging job, with unrealistic time restraints inside each store in which the Merchandiser can't meet "UNLESS FRIEND'S ARE PIGGY BACKING OFF ONE ANOTHER!" This is a 2 man Job; not 1 man Job! Inadequate training, in which 3 various Trainer's didn't tell me we had to handle Coke & 7 UP'S products if a Store Manager asks us to build a End Cap or Display in Front of the Store; come to find out other Companies Products are tangled up with Pepsi's Products we have to end up doing the Merchandiser Jobs of Coke & 7UP which is absurd if you ask me! Second of all; after stocking all the Coolers, Aisle Products, Water Cases, building Displays, now we have to consolidate all the Pallets inside the section of the Warehouse; 12 Packs on 12 Packs, Miscellaneous Pallets on top of other Miscellaneous Pallets, 2 Liters on top of other 2 Liters Etc. They have us now doing the job of the Shipper & Receiver Department who works for Ralph's, Vons, Albertsons, Rite Aid Etc. Then they have the audacity to tell you, if your inside the store for over 1 hour & 45 minutes you're taking too long and you will never finish your route!! A Merchandiser without help is easily inside these stores ranging from anywhere between 3.5 to 4.5 hours! Normally per day; Merchandisers have 5 to 6 Stores!
