Howard D. McClamrock, M.D., earned both his undergraduate degree and medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology and his fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the University of Maryland. After completing his fellowship in 1988, Dr. McClamrock joined the faculty at the University of Maryland in the department of obstetrics and gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, where he co-founded the in vitro fertilization program along with Dr. Eugene Katz of SGF's Towson office. Dr. McClamrock was the first reproductive endocrinologist in the state of Maryland to perform a frozen embryo transfer that resulted in a live birth.
