In the early 1980s Vern Haversacks son, Mike Haversack, moved to Bakersfield to reunite his wife with her family. After working for many of the largest tile contractors in town for nearly twenty years, Mike started Haversack Tile Company. Haversack tile has been serving Bakersfield for over ten years now and is still a family owned and operated business.
